Vintage Japanese Shōwa Era Satsuma Style Lidded Vase

A vintage Japanese Shōwa-era Satsuma-style lidded stoneware vase. This vintage vase originates from early-to-mid twentieth century Japan, made in a Satsuma style. The vase features a round urn shape with guardian lion ornaments to opposite sides as well as the lid, a trimmed lip and base detail, and intricately hand-painted patterning in ochre, cobalt, sienna, hunter green, carmine, and burgundy, over which is a raised paint detailing. The vase is unmarked.
