Federal Style Quartz Grandmother Clock
Item Details
A Federal style quartz grandmother clock. An oak and other select hardwoods are accented with a golden oak finish and feature swan pediments and a carved urn finial on the bonnet. The case has reeded side columns with ring turned wood caps and a square wood and glass front door. The glass door displays a white dial with black Roman numerals and black serpentine hands with three key arbors. The dial is accented with pink rose spandrels with gilded accents and a colorful sunset and lighthouse landscape scene above the dial. The case has a burlwood door on the waist that opens to display a pendulum and the clock has a quartz movement and stands on plinth style base with ogee bracket feet. There are no apparent makers marks.

- to fair, C Battery Operation, original movement and pendulum removed but included in base. However, could not pull movement out to view, Back will need to be removed to extricate movement.
