An artist’s proof lithograph titled Squash Blossoms designed by American sculptor and painter, Alexander Calder (1898-1976, circa 1974). Calder is best known for being the originator of the suspended mobile sculptures, as well as creating colorful paintings with geometric inspired subject matter. This print is signed in pencil to the lower right margin and is marked “E.P.” which is a French abbreviation meaning ‘artist’s proof.’ This piece is double matted in black and linen tone, displayed behind glass in a chrome finished frame. There is a wire for hanging to the verso.
