Two Luigi Kasimir Colored Etchings. Circa 1930s

A pairing of 1930s colored etchings by artist by Austro-Hungarian artist Luigi Kasimir. Throughout his life, Kasimir traveled all over Europe and the United States creating many color etchings studying such artists as Wilhelm Unger. He was a pioneer of color etching and well regarded in his lifetime. His work can be found in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, as well as many other museums and galleries in the United States and Europe. Prints are signed beneath the margins, presented under glass surrounded by tan mats and similar frames with gold metallic painted finish.
