Chinese Hand-embellished Porcelain Ginger Jars

Item Details

A set of four Chinese porcelain ginger jars. The pieces feature hand-embellished floral and scroll designs to the bright red ground with domed removable lids. Two of the jars present Wan Shou Wu Jiang medallions and yellow and green geometrical borders. The jars bear apocryphal Qianlong reign marks to the underside but were produced in the latter half of the 20th century.

Condition

- intentional distressing and discoloration; spots to rims and interiors; wear to foot rims.
