Chinese Teapot with Guardian Lion Finial

A Chinese porcelain teapot. This piece features a tapered body with a fitted, domed lid adorned with an orange guardian lion finial, a simplistic side handle, and an elongated spout. The piece displays a multicolored floral and scroll motif pattern rendered in hues of pale pink, green, and sky blue on a yellow ground. The underside bears a blue apocryphal Qianlong reign mark, however, it was produced in the late 20th century.
