An oil painting on canvas of a rustic town by listed Danish artist Andreas Marius Valdemar Albertsen (1868 – 1954). This Impressionist style painting depicts a cobblestone road dappled by sunlight that pokes through tall trees. It weaves through picketed fences which contain various cottages. To the lower right corner is an artist signature. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame with string to the verso for hanging.

Condition

- slight scuffs to frame; minor loss of paint to surface of piece.
