Antique Knockdown Wardrobe in Quartersawn Oak
Item Details
An antique knockdown wardrobe in quartersawn oak, circa 1900. The case features a rectangular top with a serpentine, front edge and a rear, scrolled-foliate gallery. Directly below is a single, blind-paneled door opening to two shelves over a machine-dovetailed, base drawer. The serpentine drawer front is fitted with brass hardware and the wardrobe rises on cabriole, front legs and square, back legs. The interior is marked ‘2’.
