Limoges Egg Cups and Tray, Imperial Beaded Glass Serving Platters and More
Item Details
An elegant variety of glass and china serving pieces including a porcelain serving tray with four egg cups and one lid from Limoges, France. The egg cups are marked ‘Theodore Haviland’ and cups and tray are also marked ‘Limoges France.’ They display a delicate pink rose pattern with the tray and lid are painted with a gold trim. Also included is a set of light blue with gold trim sugar (lid missing) and cream in an unusual Art Deco diamond shape. They are marked ‘RS Tillowitz Silesia’ to underside. This grouping also offers two Imperial glass beaded serving plates. One has a heart-shaped handle in center. An oval platter, unmarked, is also included which features a bird and floral motif to center and inside of rim edge.
Condition
Overall good condition. Please note: one of the egg cups has a crack and another has a chip at base. Much of the gold paint on the tray has worn. The platter with the bird motif has crazing.
