A vintage 7′×10′ hand-knotted Persian Qum Tree of Life area rug. This rug features a central floral medallion with pendants and an allover floral spray motif on a deep blue field with corner palmettes against a red ground. The main border features palmettes with vining leaves and flowers, and is flanked by meandering floral secondary borders with green and tan sawtooth minor stripes. The rug has overcast edges and natural warp fringe. ‘Made in Iran’ label to reverse.
