Coiled Ammonoid Specimens
Item Details
A collection of twenty small coiled ammonoid specimens. These sectioned and polished specimens of a fossil cephalopod display mud and calcite filled chambers. The specimens retains some of the original shell material which obscures the chamber suture pattern but where the suture pattern is exposed it is ammonitic in nature. No collection locality information is provided for these specimen. Please see coordinating items 18CIN341-007, 008, 009 and 010 in this sale.
