A pair of Chinese blue and white ‘double happiness’ ceramic ginger jars. This matching pair of white ceramic ginger jars features bell shaped lids with peg handles and rounded bodies that taper to flat bases in an all over blue floral motif with the Chinese ‘double happiness’ character (囍). Unmarked, the jars likely date from the Republic Period (1912-1949).
