Early 20th Century Edison Standard Model B Phonograph and Cylinders
Item Details
An early twentieth century Edison Standard Phonograph Model B. The phonograph includes the type 5 maker’s plaque and is marked serial number S361046. It features the ‘tall’ oak style housing and script ‘Edison’ mark typical of the Model B. It includes a metal crank with wooden handle to the side and a black enamel brass bell. The machine is presented with two cylinders of recorded music.

- missing dome top lid; I’m Looking for Something to Eat cylinder is broken; some scuffs and scratches; some oxidation; some dust; the mechanisms moved but was unable to test for sound.
