An inscribed hand-knotted Persian Mashhad room size rug. This rug features an oval-shaped medallion with pendants, in a field of floral spray with hues of deep blue, tan, mustard yellow, pale blue, teal, and pale pink, against a madder red ground. It has a palmette main border, flanked by meandering floral guard borders and is signed to the tan guard border. The rug ends in natural warp fringe. ‘Made in Iran’ label to reverse.
