A vintage 10′×13′ hand-knotted Persian Tabriz room size rug. This rug features a central scalloped medallion with pendants and floral spray trim in hues of deep blue, wheat, madder red, olive, pale turquoise, and teal, against a red field with spandrels. It has a main border with palmettes, florets, and scrolled vines, flanked by meandering floral guard borders with sawtooth minor stripes. Finished in natural warp fringe. ‘Made in Iran’ label to reverse.
