A recast bronze statue titled The Snake Priest after Early 20th Century American artist, Charles Marion Russell (1864 – 1926). This piece, rendered in bronze, draws its inspiration from the snake ceremony of the Hopi Indians, and depicts Lomanakshu, Chief of the Mishognovi Snake Fraternity, thrusting at a coiled snake with a snake whip. It is impressed ‘C M Russell 1914’ and ‘B. Zoppo Foundry NY’.
