Charcoal on paper

A selection of signed James Yoko charcoal sketches. These sketches were created by the notable Dayton, Ohio artist James Yoko (1916 – 2004) showing his range of styles, from realistic to abstract. The drawings are rendered in charcoal on paper. One piece was taken from a notebook of the artist’s work, one is under a sheet of clear cellophane and mounted on cardboard, and one is mounted to white cardboard. The two pieces are signed by the artist and one bears an inventory tag from the Dayton Art Institue indicating that it was donated by the artist himself.
