A framed 1966 Metropolitan Opera lithograph poster for a production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte after a work by Marc Chagall. The Metropolitan Opera Marc Chagall ‘Zauberfloete’ poster was issued in 1966 upon the opening of the Met at Lincoln Center and a production of Mozart’s ‘Magic Flute’ opera. The original issue from that year was a small issue printed by Chagall’s own Mourlot Lithographer and so marked at the very bottom.
