A sketchbook attributed to Ohio artist James Yoko (1916 – 2004). The book has nine pages with colorful Modernist abstract sketches in pencil, watercolor, gouache and pastels, all reminiscent of Yoko’s signed works. The book and its contents are not signed but it was included with a group of paintings from the Yoko consignment to the Dayton Art Institute.

Condition

- some discoloration
- offset from some pages to the verso of the preceeding page, particularly from pastels
