A graphite drawing with watercolor on paper by artist Elli Groninger. This piece depicts a smiling young child with a single short spike of hair on top of their head. It is drawn in graphite with white and black watercolor washes used to provide smooth, realistic shading in the child’s skin and color in their shirt. The piece is signed and dated 2004 to the lower right, and it is presented behind a mat and glass in a wood frame with triangle hooks to the verso for hanging.

- scratches to frame to upper center and upper left corner; minor nicks to corners of frame.
