A mixed media artwork by James Yoko (American, 1916- 2004), listed Ohio artist. The artwork depicts the side view of a male pointing his finger at a question mark with the word, ‘WHY’ to his back. The painting has an aqua field and is painted in palette of orange-red, white, blue and orange. The figure is covered with torn pieces of newspaper ads painted orange-red. It is signed and dated in black to backside of canvas, ‘J. Yoko 93, Acrylic and Collage’.
