Antique Latrille Brothers Limoges Porcelain Plates by Muville

Item Details

A set of seven antique Latrille Brothers Limoges porcelain plates. The pieces feature hand-painted fish to the centers among aquatic plants to the mottled green and blue ground. The plates present gold encrusted scrolling foliate borders to the cobalt blue verges adorned with a repeating gilt floral pattern. The plates are signed by the artist ‘Muville’ to the bottom of the well. The pieces bear the ‘Limoges France’ mark used by the Latrille Brothers between 1899-1913.
