A set of twelve Chippendale style dining chairs. The set includes two arm chairs and ten side chairs. They feature wooden, mahogany-stained frames with shaped, acanthus-carved crests above pierced, vasiform splats continuing to padded, trapezoidal seats. The seats are upholstered in ornately-patterned fabric with multi-colored flower, foliate, crown, and fleurs-de-lis motifs against a white ground. The chairs rise on cabriole, front legs, with acanthine knees and ball-and-claw feet, and raking back legs. One retains a partial label on the underside.

Condition
- minor surface wear as would be expected with normal use; one splat with a small crack; another with a few tiny marks along back of crest; another with a tiny white mark on back of ear.
