A vintage hand-knotted Pakistani Bokara rug. This rug features a rich crimson-red field densely ornamented with geometric and organic motifs in mint green, petal pink, tangerine, cream, and black, and repeating diamond medallions to the center. The field is bound on four sides by a resolved principal border with a geometric pattern in coordinating colors and is flanked by two pairs of minor borders containing floral motifs. The rug is finished with an overcast edge with fringe to both ends and a single-wrapped selvedge to both sides.
