Chinese Ceramic Urn with Pheasant and Peony Designs

A contemporary Chinese ceramic lidded urn. The piece features a tapered rounded body and matching lid with orange handle. It is decorated with a colorful scene depicting pheasants roosting in a flowering peony shrub. The scene is bordered with ornate red and yellow floral and geometric imagery. The vessel bears an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark to the underside; however it was produced in the late 20th or early 21st century.
