An English Ridgways Grecian blue transferware plate with a depiction of George Washington from the original portrait by Stuart in the Boston Athenceum and an English Wedgwood Etruria blue transferware plate with a depiction of Martha Custis, wife of George Washington. Both plates are marked and impressed to the verso.
