Four Irish copper conder tokens from the 1790s. Lot includes four examples of provincial Irish copper tokens, privately minted to try to overcome the shortage of small denomination coinage. Tokens range from 6.8 to 12.4 grams in weight. Diameters average to approx. 29 mm (each). Tokens are circulated and in poor to fair condition.
