Item Details
An early 20th century oak double-cabinet chest of drawers. The paneled case features a rectangular top above a pair of doors before one adjustable shelf. Directly below is a stack of four machine-dovetailed drawers over another two-door cabinet concealing a vacant interior. The chest rises on square, stile legs ending in wooden casters. There are no maker’s marks.

Condition
- chest is made up of two separate, stacked sections (interior and back nailed with later reinforcement blocks); top with some ring/moisture stains and a later strip of molding along the back edge; sides and front of chest with some discolored spots as well as light moisture stains and white paint spatter; bottom cabinet with a piece of metal applied to the backboard to cover a small hole.
