Antique Late Victorian Oak Washstand

An antique late Victorian oak washstand, circa 1900. The paneled case features a rectangular, serpentine-front top backed by a towel bar with a lyre-shaped support. Directly below is a single, machine-dovetailed drawer over two paneled doors before a two-shelf interior. The drawer front is fitted with a brass escutcheon plate and wooden knobs while the right door has a brass knob. The washstand rises on square, stile legs ending in wooden casters.
