Antique Poplar Jelly Cupboard
Item Details
An antique poplar jelly cupboard, mid to late 19th century. The case features a rectangular top with a rear, cut-corner gallery above two aligned, dovetailed drawers over a pair of paneled doors. The drawers are embellished with scratchbeading along the top and bottom edges while the paneled doors are secured by a metal latch. The latter open to two fixed shelves and the cupboard rises on cutout sides with an applied, front skirt.

Condition
- to fair; scattered surface wear and imperfections as would be expected with age and use; top with some ring/moisture stains; base with some tiny spatter marks; interior and back of case retain remnants of old blue and cream paint.
