A hand-knotted Persian Heriz wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, slate, walnut, cranberry, wheat, and taupe. The ivory colored field features a lattice of diamond and lobed pendant medallions, along with flowering and leafy vine-work. Framing the field is an ivory grounded main stylized herati border, as well as floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Genuine Hand Woven Oriental Rug’.
