A tufted Chinese floral carved wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of hunter, ivory, rose, sage, wheat, and mauve. The open hunter green colored field begins with an ivory grounded floral medallion, along with clusters of flowers to each corner, and a wreath of foliate motifs. Framing the field is a notched border with medallions and floral motifs throughout. Finishing this rug is a cotton binding and backing, as well as a knotted cotton fringe to the ends.
