Transitional Louis XV / XVI Burl Wood Veneer Commode
Item Details
An Italian, transitional Louis XV – XVI style burl wood veneer commode, 20th century. This rectangular top commode with curved front edge overhangs two full width, stacked drawers. The dovetail joinery drawers feature burl wood veneer panels and decorative brass handles. This piece rises on restrained cabriole legs with brass applied embellishments to the feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
