Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian-style area rug. This wool pule rug is rendered in a palette of rust, sapphire, periwinkle, blush, sapphire, and eggshell and features an all over lattice pattern comprised of floral diamond shaped medallions. The field is framed with compound floral meander guard borders, while the primary border displays a resolved floral motif over eggshell. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges, a short kilim skirt, and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
