Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, powder blue, indigo, camel, rose, cranberry, and sage. The ivory colored field features clusters of palmettes that radiate with scrolling vine-work of more palmettes, leaves, and flowers. Framing the field is a main palmette meander border, with sawtooth guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
