A vintage woodcut on Japan paper titled Do Not Sell the Bones of Your Father and Mother by American artist Bruce Carter (b.1931). The wood cut features a depiction of a figure with double red contour lines running vertically along his black garment. The figure is mirrored by a white silhouette also with a single red line along it’s contours. The work is rendered in a limited palette of black ,white, blue,and red and is signed to the lower right, dated ’72, and numbered 2/15. The print is presented matted in a silver tone frame and under glass.

- to fair; slight billow to paper; heavy scratching to edges of frame; dust and accretions present to frame and glass; slight toning to paper.
