A vintage hand-knotted Persian Tabriz wool area rug. This rug features a large, round medallion with floral pendants in a palette of pale blue, beige, brown, olive green, burgundy, deep indigo, and pale pink, offset by floral corner medallions. It has a main border with palmettes, flanked by meandering carnation secondary borders and sawtooth minor stripes. Natural warp fringe to either end with a ‘Made in Iran’ label to the reverse.
