A vintage Georgian style mahogany highboy chest on stand by Craftique. The highboy chest features a prominent swan neck pediment with center finial and finials to the corners. Below is an upper portion with carved shell and acanthus panel between two small drawers above a pair of aligned drawers and three stacked, graduated drawers, all with brass-toned bail pulls on batwing plates. Below is a portion with a narrow full-width drawer above another carved shell and acanthus panel between two small drawers. It rises on cabriole legs with carved knees and claw-and-ball-feet. It is marked ‘Authentic Reproduction by Craftique, Mebane, N.C.’ inside a drawer. Three keys are included.
