A wood carved Indian Jhoola style porch swing. This traditional swing is crafted from varnished teak and features an elaborately carved scalloped crest rail with a scrolling botanical motif to the center flanked by elephants to each side. The paneled back, seat, and sides are decorated with elephants of bone and brass inlays. The box style frame is detailed with traditional inlaid medallions and vertical spindles to the back. The swing has large brass elephant finials to the corners connecting the sturdy metal chains and an upholstered cushioned seat.
