A vintage power-loomed Chinese-style wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cornsilk, sky blue, burnt orange, wheat, and navy blue. The cornsilk colored field begins with a central medallion with the longevity symbol along with floral and foliate motifs. It also features small bouquets, and sprays throughout, as well as scrolling vines and a palmette serving as spandrels. Framing the field is a main sky blue grounded border designed with longevity symbols and floral motifs, along with fret patterned guard borders. Finishing this rug are serged edges and an applied fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
