A Chinese stone dragon ship. This elaborately carved piece presents a ship with three masts and sails connected by a chain and three levels of deck houses, covered in decorative patterns. The ship’s bow and stern are carved to resemble the head and tail of a dragon, with a scale pattern throughout the hull. The green piece is presented on a black stone base, and there are no apparent maker’s marks.
