A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Peshawar-style wool room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, indigo, ivory, sage, gold, rose, wheat, and teal. The cranberry colored field features a lattice design of palmettes, and flowering vines throughout. Framing the field is an indigo grounded main stylized herati border, along with sage grounded herati guard borders, and diagonal striped minor borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
