Item Details
A hand-knotted Sino-Persian wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, powder blue, rose, walnut, sage, and wheat. The ivory colored field begins with a pole of stepped pendant medallions, with coordinating spandrels, and featuring flower filled vases throughout. Framing the field is a rose grounded main border designed with palmettes, and flowering vines, along with a pair of sawtooth guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a fine cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
