A hand-tufted Chinese floral carved wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, ivory, sky blue, sage, rose, apricot, silver, and wheat. The crimson colored field features an oval flower cluster medallion enclosed by a floral and foliate wreath, along with clusters along the edges and ends. Framing the field is an ivory grounded main border patterned with cartouches and medallions each infilled with blossoms. Finishing this rug is a cotton binding and backing, as well as a cotton fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
