An antique circa 1890s hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Caucasian runner. This antique low-pile rug features a densely ornamented field in petal pink, royal blue, moss green, deep puce, carmine, and ecru on a deep coffee-brown ground color. The rug has three distinctly patterned borders integrating the colors in the rug’s field, each of which is trimmed by a narrow dotted border. The rug is finished with a single wrapped selvedge to both sides and a natural warp fringe to both ends.
