An original acrylic painting on canvas by Cincinnati based contemporary artist Elizabeth O’Neill (1930-2018), titled Guardian Angel. The painting depicts two stylized women, one floating behind the other holding her up. The painting is unsigned, but a tag with the artist’s name and title are attached. The painting is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.

Elizabeth O’Neill was born in Cleveland, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from St. Mary of the Woods College in Indiana. After furthering her education with graduate work at the Cleveland and Chicago Art Institutes and Northern Illinois University, she spent twelve years teaching art to inner-city high school students in Chicago. “There,” she says, “I learned the grassroots of humanity and found expression to be a saving factor.”
