2' x 3' Fine Hand-Knotted Persian Ardebil Rug
Item Details
A fine hand-knotted Persian Ardebil rug. This rug features a cream-colored field with a two-part medallion at the center in rich crimson, teal, rust, navy, and olive green, which has hooked crenelations around geometric forms. The rug has a principal border showing a repeating geometric pattern in similar coloring, which is flanked by identical minor borders, and to the fringe ends, a geometric patterned strip in coordinating colors. The rug is finished with a natural warp fringe to both ends and a single-wrapped selvedge to both sides.
