Item Details
A signed wheel thrown stoneware bowl and teapot. Featured is a serving bowl by noted ceramist Mary George Kronstadt (1937-2008), with abstract floral decoration in blue and brown on the inside wall on a speckled taupe ground. The bowl is stamped ‘MGK’ to the underside. Also included is a lidded teapot with an applied handle and spout. It has a tan speckled glaze and is stamped ‘M’ to the underside and may be by Kronstadt but a clear attribution could not be established. .
