A vintage hand-knotted Caucasian carpet runner. Features stacked medallions with birds in ivory, indigo, red, and forest green, against a dark grey ground, patterned with rows of repeating s-forms and animal figures. There is a main geometric border flanked by matching geometric guard borders. Ends in natural warp cotton fringe to either end and overcast selvedges.
