Vintage Lalique "Sylvie" Frosted Crystal Vase
Item Details
A frosted crystal vase by Lalique in the Sylvie design. This figural vessel features outstretched, angular wings and tail feathers which descend on a pair of intertwined doves. Each is rendered with a curvilinear form and finished with delicate eyes and beak. The piece bears an incised signature to the base: “Lalique France” indicating a production date c. 1945-1980. The form was originally designed by Marc Lalique in 1956.
